Diligent’s ProtecTIER platform is the first proven enterprise-class disk-based data protection solution that enables customers to reduce their required backup disk storage capacity by 25X or more. It does so while ingesting backup data in-line at rates of up to 450MB/s making it the only de-duplication platform that is viable in enterprise environments. ProtecTIER can scale up to 1PB of physical disk storage and because of data de-duplication, it enables effiicient electronic replication for geographic protection.
